AltaMed reports depression up 36% among patients near Lineage fire
On September 24, 2026, AltaMed released patient data showing depression up 36% and anxiety up 22% among people treated within five miles of the Boyle Heights Lineage warehouse fire, as LAist reported. The comparison covers about 40,000 patients since June 17 against the same period in 2025.
Respiratory diagnoses rose 19.9% and eye and throat irritation 24.2%.
