TMHP's IAMOnline Activation Email Landed August 18 — the Legitimate Okta Message Billing Teams Should Not Mistake for Phishing, Six Days Before the August 24 Cutover
TMHP confirmed that the scheduled IAMOnline activation email went out to Texas Medicaid providers on August 18. The notice tells recipients to 'Click the Activate Account button in the email to begin the activation process,' and — the detail that matters operationally — names the two legitimate sender addresses: noreply@okta.com and Do_Not_Reply_TMHP_IAMOnline@tmhp.partner.hhs.texas.gov.
A 'click Activate' message from okta.com is exactly the shape security-aware staff are trained to delete, so billing and IT teams should whitelist both senders per the notice rather than lose the email to a spam filter. Per the already-tracked Release 4 schedule, each activation link is valid for seven days, and the Long-term Care Online Portal, LTC Dashboard, EVV Portal, and Care Forms move to IAMOnline with required MFA on August 24 — six days after this email.
Providers who cannot find the message after checking spam and whitelist settings are directed to the EDI Help Desk at 888-863-3638. The notice names no health center; it applies to the FQHC personnel who use the affected TMHP applications or received the activation email.
