Frequently asked questions
Who is this onboarding hub for?
New hires and the people who onboard them. New hires get 30/60/90-day planning questions and worksheets for their role. Managers and HR get pre-start checklists, first-day schedules, and guides. Pick who you're planning for at the top to switch views.
Do I need an account or to take an assessment?
No. Everything is free and open. Just pick your job track and role. If you've used the Resume Builder or Interview Prep, your role is already picked.
What formats can I download templates in?
Editable Word (.docx), an Excel 30/60/90 tracker (.xlsx), PDF, print, or copy. HR teams can edit and reuse them, and new hires can fill them in. Every template is in English and Spanish.
How is onboarding different across job tracks?
Mostly in credentialing and system access. Clinical roles may need license checks, NPI/DEA, exclusion screening, or payer enrollment, depending on the role, state, and employer. Other roles may focus on background checks, system access, and role certifications. Each track lists the usual topics to confirm with your employer and the licensing agencies.
Are the credentialing steps sourced?
Yes. Regulated steps link to the agency's own page where there is one, including HRSA, OIG, SAM.gov, CMS NPPES, DEA, licensing boards, OSHA, HHS, and Denti-Cal. Steps that depend on your employer are marked so you can confirm them.
