CHCF selected 6 transformative proposals from 132 submissions for the Future of Medi-Cal Commission:
- unified primary care payment across Medi-Cal/CalPERS/Covered CA
- IHSS managed care integration
- Covered California expansion for coverage continuity
- 'Any Card, Any Provider' network unification
- AI-first Health Data Utility, and
- unified financing model.
The unified payment proposal could replace FQHC PPS with a standardized multipayer model.
