HRSA medical-school grants are due September 1; FQHCs may be rotation partners but cannot apply

HRSA-27-098 expects $13 million for eight Medical Student Education awards of $1 million to $1.625 million, with a 1% match. Eligible applicants are qualifying public medical schools in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.

Awardees must establish primary-care rotations in settings that may include FQHCs, Teaching Health Centers, RHCs, community mental health centers, or Tribal and IHS sites. FQHCs are not eligible applicants; the NOFO does not confirm a subaward, preceptor payment, or partnership for any center.
