HRSA awards 28 health centers $51 million for neurodevelopmental dental care
Issue
On September 23, 2026, HHS announced $51 million to 28 health centers to improve dental care for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism and Down syndrome. Each recipient gets up to $2 million through HRSA's new Quality Improvement Fund and joins shared learning and evaluation work.
