House resolution backs one patient definition for health center 340B drugs
Issue
On September 17, 2026, Reps. Jack Bergman and Don Davis introduced H.Res. 1558, which says health centers should keep one patient definition for all services, including 340B drugs.
The resolution cites HRSA's definition of a patient as anyone with at least one countable visit a year. It went to the Energy and Commerce Committee.
