San Diego County adds 89 treatment and recovery beds in National City
Issue
San Diego County cut the ribbon on a $29 million substance use treatment and recuperative care center in National City on September 14, 2026. It adds 73 residential treatment beds and 16 recuperative care beds for Medi-Cal members and opens this fall.
South Bay health centers can refer patients who need residential treatment or a safe place to heal.
