Founded in 1989 as the Center for AIDS Research, Education and Services (CARES) in response to the HIV/AIDS crisis, One Community Health is a Sacramento FQHC that has evolved into a full-service community health center offering medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, pharmacy, laboratory, and social work services. Originally formed with support from UC Davis Health and Sacramento County, the organization now operates two clinic locations in Sacramento's Midtown and Arden neighborhoods.
