About the Role
CHW serving East County San Diego's Somali, Iraqi, Afghan, and Latino refugee communities. Connect recently resettled families to primary care, behavioral health, and social services. Somali or Arabic fluency urgently needed.
Requirements
- CHW certification or 2+ years refugee/immigrant community outreach
- Somali or Arabic language skills highly preferred — rare and critically needed
- Lived experience as refugee or immigrant in East County SD community strongly preferred
- Knowledge of refugee resettlement resources, Medi-Cal, and SD County social services
- Valid CA driver's license
