About the Role
Bilingual CHW doing agricultural community outreach in the Salinas Valley — connecting farmworkers and their families to Monterey County Health Department's 14 FQHC sites. Indigenous Mixtec and Zapotec-speaking agricultural workers present in some communities.
Requirements
- CHW certification or community health experience in agricultural settings
- Bilingual Spanish required; Indigenous language (Mixteco, Zapotec) a major plus
- Migrant and seasonal worker community health knowledge
- Driver's license required — outreach across Salinas Valley agricultural camps
- Culturally humble approach with mixed-documentation farmworker families
