Family physician at Redwoods Rural Health Center — 10-site network serving southern Humboldt County's remote redwood coast communities (Redway, Garberville, Shelter Cove, Petrolia). Southern Humboldt is remote, cannabis-industry community with high rates of uninsured, trauma, and substance use. NHSC eligible.
Requirements
- MD/DO Board Certified in Family Medicine
- NHSC Loan Repayment eligible — Humboldt County frontier HPSA
- Rural/frontier primary care including urgent care; full scope of practice
- Non-judgmental approach to substance use and cannabis industry worker health
- Willingness to live in southern Humboldt County remote community required
