About the Role
Conduct community outreach and enrollment assistance for uninsured and underinsured LA residents, screening for Medi-Cal eligibility, facilitating enrollment applications, and connecting patients to AltaMed's sliding fee scale programs.
Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish/English required for community outreach in predominantly Latino neighborhoods
- Certified Application Assister (CAA) or Certified Enrollment Counselor preferred, or willing to obtain
- Experience with Medi-Cal eligibility requirements, Covered California, and MAGI income rules
- Outreach experience in community health, social services, or insurance navigation
