About the Role
CHW outreach in Eastern Coachella Valley — connecting farmworker and indigenous families to primary care, Medi-Cal, WIC, and heat illness prevention resources. Field-based work in agricultural settings.
Requirements
- CHW certification or 2+ years migrant/farmworker community outreach
- Spanish fluency required; Mixtec or Zapotec indigenous language a significant plus
- Valid CA driver's license — extensive field travel in desert agricultural areas
- Farmworker lived experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of immigration resources, Medi-Cal enrollment, heat illness prevention
