Alameda Health System operates 4 FQHC Wellness Centers in East Oakland, the Fruitvale, San Leandro, and Hayward — embedded in a full public health system with Highland Hospital (Alameda County's only Level 1 Trauma Center). Serving Oakland's most residents with limited access to care. NHSC eligible.
Requirements
- MD/DO with California medical license; Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- NHSC Loan Repayment eligible — Alameda County HPSA designation
- Epic EHR proficiency strongly preferred — AHS uses Epic enterprise-wide
- Multilingual skills (Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, or Amharic) valued — diverse East Oakland population
- Interest in teaching welcome — AHS operates residency and training programs
