UMMA Health (University Muslim Medical Association) is the first Muslim American-founded FQHC in the United States, established in the wake of the 1992 Los Angeles civil unrest. Serving 25,000+ patients annually across 7 sites in South Los Angeles, the organization provides integrated primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, women's health, HIV/STI services, and school-based wellness centers in partnership with LAUSD.
