About the Role
Conduct Medi-Cal enrollment assistance for individuals at San Diego County detention facilities, ensuring newly released individuals are Medi-Cal enrolled upon release and connected to FHCSD primary care and CalAIM services.
Requirements
Bilingual Spanish/English required for detention setting navigation with justice-involved patients
Certified Application Assister (CAA) or willingness to obtain; Medi-Cal eligibility knowledge required
Experience or comfort working in correctional or detention settings preferred
Knowledge of NCCRS Medi-Cal suspension vs. termination rules and reinstatement processes
