Nurse Practitioners at FQHCs work in a meaningfully different environment from hospitals or private clinics: Medi-Cal patient populations, programs like ECM and CalAIM, and an explicit community health mission. Some clinical roles may support an NHSC or Nurse Corps loan-repayment application, but site status, discipline, HPSA score, HRSA cycle, and award status must be verified separately.
