About the Role
Physician at Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley, serving American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities in San Jose with 13 active sites. Culturally responsive primary care integrating traditional healing practices and addressing AI/AN health disparities including diabetes, behavioral health, and cardiovascular disease.
Requirements
MD/DO with California medical license
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Experience with AI/AN communities or tribal health settings strongly preferred
Cultural humility and trauma-informed care in Indigenous contexts
